Step-By-Step: How We Install a Ceramic Coating

  • Wash

    Using an extra strong stripping soap, the vehicle is hand washed. This is the first part of the ceramic coating process and is something that takes lots of care and time, cutting any corners during these steps would risk having sub par results.

  • Chemically Decontaminate

    An iron removing chemical is used to neutralize compounds containing iron, like brake dust, that has been embedded in the paint.

  • Clay Bar

    A bar of clay is massaged across the paint using a slippery solution to not scratch the surface. The clay will pick up any physical contaminants left on the paint.

  • Paint Correction

    Paint correction serves multiple purposes. Your vehicle's paint will look more glossy and surface level defects will be removed. Paint correction will also help increase the coatings duration.

  • IPA Wipe down

    A solution containing nearly pure alcohol is used to sterilize the surface and ensure it is 100% clean.

  • Protect

    Once your vehicle's paint is as clean and pure as it can be we apply a layer of protection. The cleaner and more pure the surface, the better the ceramic coating will perform. Our ceramic coatings harden onto your vehicle's paint immediately but take an additional week to fully cure.
